Let it be known that I have the best boyfriend in the world. I love Ethan Richard Patrick Hickerson so dang much.

I’m sitting in Ingrid’s Kitchen with my family and there is a band warming up and I hear a saxophone being played by a man past 70 and you can note the love of music. Today, Saturday, in this quaint little German restaurant, I am reminded of my travels and of passion and of friendship and of tradition and it’s beautiful.

Sometimes it’s really hard to watch so many people my age get engaged, especially when some of them have not been together even half as long as Ethan and me (and I’m not hating on that—if you’re happy and you know you wanna get married, go for it).
But…I want to get married…
And we will. In time.

I want to go everywhere. I want to spend years traveling, experiencing new things, soaking up different cultures.
I have this unstoppable, unquenchable desire to go.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Oklahoma, but I belong in so many places.

Also, I’m entirely too torn on which book to read. I’m in a Harry Potter mood like always. But I have The Hunger Games (which I need to read, ya know).
And I also have Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close which I need to re-read.
Decisions, decisions. Do you guys have any good book suggestions? I’m open to a lot.
